Random Thought
It’s currently 9:35 pm as I write this, and for some reason this is when I am most productive. I’m enjoying the Monday night football game between the Detroit Lions vs the Baltimore Ravens. FUN FACT: I’m from Detroit! Go Lions! (Yes I wrote this last week, don’t judge me).
So…Mission Accomplished? Let’s talk about it. It’s Book 1 of the Mission Series. Of all of the stories it’s my favorite and the one most personal to me. The female main character is an embodiment of myself over the years. She’s loyal, fierce, dedicated and determined. It’s a book for me, for women like me, and for the girls who never back down. She is my everything, and I love her so much that all I want to do is write about her. Like if I could, I would just write about her non-stop. But there are other characters that you will love and I’ve got to write about them too.
The male main character is my problem. I have the most unhealthy devotion to him and he is constantly on my mind. I love both of my characters dearly but anything related to my male main character….UNHINGEDLY FERAL. I kid you not. He is always on my mind and I think it’s mainly because he’s perfectly imperfect in every way. He is a dream. He honestly was a dream—which is how he came about. But yeah…he’s gonna be everyone’s favorite.
What’s happening?
Book 1 is currently being reviewed and looked at. We are commissioning artwork from artist and I can’t wait to see the results. Pre-orders will be going up pretty soon as well for anyone that wants a copy. I will be releasing the E-book first. Then we will see paperbacks around December. I also have decided to host my book an author services website. I can’t wait to put the book out there, and also help her business. There are so many things happening and I can’t wait to share them with you.
Cover Reveal Out !
I’ve been a bit of social media slump, so i’m struggle with posting things. I know I just need to buckle down and do it but i’m a human after all! Anyway the cover has been revealed. It was made months ago, and I am so excited for it to be out there in the world. I really love it, and the other ones look amazing too. They don’t have character art on them right now but one day they will. I hope you love it. The wonderful folks and Red Fox Creative did amazing!
What’s next?
Book 2 is about 50% done. My goal is for it to be drafted by the release of book 1. I’ve already chosen the artist for artwork. I’ve already chosen a cover, and I’m working with a company for blurb writing. I love writing blurbs don’t get me wrong, but it’s a lot of work!
Transparency moment
I am doing this mostly on my own, so my finances aren’t the easiest to work with. With the being said, the book will only release in E-book form first. Paperbacks will be available closer towards December/January! I’ll make an annoucement then!
